We collect this information in order to be able to develop our webite and to contact you with information about partnerships in DEA, or with our newsletter or information regarding events that you signed up for. Some information is collected via cookies, please see Section 2 for more details.

DEA uses third party suppliers of IT services, who may have access to your personal data to support DEA in the purposes described above. In the case that a supplier handles your data outside of the EU/EEA, this will be in accordance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield or European Commission standard guidelines. DEA will not store your personal information longer than is necessary to fufill the pursposes described above. Unless required by law to store your personal data for longer, DEA will store your data in accordance with the relevant purpose, including (i) sending out newsletters, until you unsubscribe from our newsletter, (ii) when you register as a partner in DEA, until you/your organisation discontinues your partnership, or (iii) in connection with the event you signed up for and for a period of up to six months after the event. Personal data collected via cookies are deleted according to the periods described in Section 2 below.
Please be aware of your rights: You have the right to request insight into the personal data, DEA stores about you, to file a complaint regarding our treatment of your data, to have your data corrected/updated or deleted, to restrict DEA’s use of your personal data, and to request a copy of the personal data, DEA stores about you, in a portable format. DEA uses cookies when you visit our website in order to optimise your use of the wesbite and to be able to analyse users’ use of the website. The website employes both permanent cookies and temporary cookies, which are deleted after your visit on the website (so-called “session cookies”).
