DEA collects personal data via our website www.dea.nu, always in accordance with current legal guidelines.

 1. Personal data

DEA collects and stores personal data about you as a user of the website. Via our website, we collect and treat the following types of data:

1. your email address, name, title and organisation of employment (when you sign up for our newsletter or events, or register as a partner in DEA, via our website).
2. your anonymous IP address
3. information about your browser and unit and about your movement and behavior on our website

We collect this information in order to be able to develop our webite and to contact you with information about partnerships in DEA, or with our newsletter or information regarding events that you signed up for. Some information is collected via cookies, please see Section 2 for more details.

All your personal information will be treated with confidentiality and only for the purposes described above.

DEA uses third party suppliers of IT services, who may have access to your personal data to support DEA in the purposes described above. In the case that a supplier handles your data outside of the EU/EEA, this will be in accordance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield or European Commission standard guidelines. DEA will not store your personal information longer than is necessary to fufill the pursposes described above. Unless required by law to store your personal data for longer, DEA will store your data in accordance with the relevant purpose, including (i) sending out newsletters, until you unsubscribe from our newsletter, (ii) when you register as a partner in DEA, until you/your organisation discontinues your partnership, or (iii) in connection with the event you signed up for and for a period of up to six months after the event. Personal data collected via cookies are deleted according to the periods described in Section 2 below.

Please be aware of your rights: You have the right to request insight into the personal data, DEA stores about you, to file a complaint regarding our treatment of your data, to have your data corrected/updated or deleted, to restrict DEA’s use of your personal data, and to request a copy of the personal data, DEA stores about you, in a portable format. 2. Cookies 

Cookies are small text files that are stored on users’ units when they visit a website. Cookies are today used by almost all website. Cookies make it possible to collect information for use in analysing traffic and activity on a website.

DEA cookies

DEA uses cookies when you visit our website in order to optimise your use of the wesbite and to be able to analyse users’ use of the website. The website employes both permanent cookies and temporary cookies, which are deleted after your visit on the website (so-called “session cookies”).

Third party cookies

DEA has allowed third parties to place cookies on your unit, when you visit our website

DEA uses Google Analytics which stores and accesses cookies on the website with a view to (i) generate statistics regarding user visits on the website, including traffic to and from the website, and (ii) optimise the user friendliness and functionality of the website, including the movements of the individual user on the website.

The website does not use Facebook Pixel.

In connection with the use of cookies, the technical set-up of the website may entail that users’ IP addresses are collected and treated by Google Analytics. DEA will however only receive this information in a format, where certain parts of the IP address have been masked and therefore cannot be traced back to a specific unit. DEA’s website will place no cookies, if you have not given your consent to this. If you have given your consent but wish to withdraw your consent, you may find information on how to do this by clicking here.
